This guide explains how to log in to your Zeronet account and what to do if you've forgotten your password.
Accessing My Account
You can access the Zeronet login page by visiting zeronet.co.nz and clicking Account in the top right corner of the page. On a mobile device, tap the menu icon in the top right corner to find the My Account option.
Logging in
On the login page, enter the email address associated with your Zeronet account. Once you've entered your email, enter your password to access your account.
Recently migrated to Zeronet?
If you have recently migrated to Zeronet, you would have been sent an email containing a temporary password. Upon signing in for the first time, you will be prompted to set up your own password.
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you originally signed up using Google or Apple, select the relevant option on the login page. You will be redirected to the respective login page to authenticate. Once confirmed, you will be granted access to your Zeronet account.
Please note that Zeronet is unable to assist with Google or Apple account access. If you have forgotten your Google or Apple password, you will need to follow the password recovery steps provided by those services directly.
Forgotten your password?
If you can't remember your password, you can reset it in a few simple steps:

On the login page, click Reset Your Password.

Enter the email address you use to log in and submit the request.
- A password reset email will be sent to that address. This is usually instant but can take up to 5 minutes — check your spam or junk folder if it doesn't arrive.

Open the email and click Confirm. You will be redirected to the Zeronet website.

Enter your new password, then retype it to confirm.

Once saved, you can log in using your new password.
Your new password must meet the following requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- At least 3 of the following:
- Lower case letters (a-z)
- Upper case letters (A-Z)
- Numbers (0-9)
- Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
