Zeronet's fibre network authenticates connections using an untagged, DHCP Option 82. This makes it typically, very easy to connect to by many modern routers, which by default, have this setting when they leave the factory.
Click here for the network settings required for your router to connect to our network. These settings 'allow' your connection by our network but there may be router-specific settings that you need to turn on or off for the router to allow/enable the connection.
In the event that you have configured your router with our settings and you are unable to get online, there may be previous ISP settings or router modes preventing a connection. Every router is different and you will need to troubleshoot the issue yourself using your router manufacturer's manual or handbook.
We welcome and encourage you to reuse your router on our network, where appropriate and where you can comfortably reconfigure it to connect. We do not accept any responsibility for the connectivity or reliability of third-party routers connected to our network.
If you are not confident, we'll do our best to assist you by walking you through the process, but to ensure you are not let down though on connection day, consider reaching out to us to order a Zeronet, pre-configured router. We can arrange to recycle your existing router for you too!
